Greetings! My name is Chris Williams and I'd like to thank you for visiting my website.

The purpose of my website is to expose to the world how government can, at times, work against its constituents best interests.  To expose when government officials, lobbyists and corrupt attorneys engage in self-enriching schemes under the color of authority, it is up to us, as citizens of this great nation, to fight back.  To use every tool at our disposal to right the wrongs that can be hidden in the vast, interwoven complexities that is our government and the laws they rule over us with.

Many of the so-called activists that are fighting for certain rights, or justice, do not see themselves as activists.  I certainly did not.  But when confronted with the might they possess and lord over us with, it is our duty, whenever possible, to call out and expose those who have lost their moral compass to be held accountable for their actions.  This website is dedicated to one such reluctant activist and the hurdles he faced when trying to participate in California’s adult-use cannabis industry.  An industry that purports to reward people of color and legitimate businesspeople, but in reality, have played a game of applicant keep away and licensing pay-to-play, regardless of the color of skin.  A game for them but certainly not for me or the many others who have fallen victim to that assault.  I am that businessman. I am that activist.

Since the passage of Prop 64 in 2016 and it’s subsequent passage of SB 94 in 2018, I have spent my life energy and fortune trying to play by the adult-use licensed cannabis rules.  To abide by and provide all the required documents whereby I would ultimately hope to gain entrance into the coveted world of licensed cannabis.  A world in which they maintain complete control and because I refused the pay-to-play corruption in the licensing process, have been denied.

Our communities are diverse, and they need diversity in those cannabis businesses where the applicants are qualified and reflect the fabric of the local community.  I am that applicant.  My story is one of denial, lies, delays, corrupt lawyers, racism, litigation, and attacks, both verbal and physical, against me in their efforts to keep me from participating in licensed cannabis. But the difference here is that I have the evidence to expose these people and support the claims I allege.

I own the Candid Chronicle and would invite you to also visit that website and see the wide ranging topics we regularly cover relative to all things cannabis.  In other words, I have a media platform and I STILL got mowed down by these criminals!  My point is this. If this can happen to me it can happen to anyone! If you, or someone you know has experienced any of these types pay-to-play licensing activities, I would love to hear from you.  Silence and darkness are where these activities live.  Light is what exposes their criminality for all to see.  Light is where it ultimately dies. We, my friends, are that light.

I welcome you to join me in that fight for justice!
